( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)So I recently got a new computer (specs below) that is pretty gud for the basic shit I first tried to do on it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)


 
I downloaded a few games like CS:GO, Gmod, SR3 And H&G, and tested em out. SR3 and H&G Worked fine, but Gmod and csgo got some major problems( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
 
Gmod: Whenever I do any type of new action (That hasn't been done on the specific map by me before) like walking, getting into or crashing vehicles, shoot any gun, etc; I get a 3-5 second freeze (sometimes with the sound loop that the spawning/shooting makes).
 
CS:GO: Same thing, even when planting the bomb, shooting any gun, killing or using the radio commands. One more thing that I saw happen is that whenever I shoot a new gun the animation is present, but the sound is delayed 2-3 seconds. Any help? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Sounds like an issue with the source engine, so I'd do some research into that to get to the Source of the problem! Get it? Source! I'll see myself out.

I hope your windows isn't downloaded as 32bit on a 64bit computer, if it is, then you're really dumbashell.

1. It's a laptop straight outta the store with a preinstalled windows, so I'm guessing the  32-64bit issue does not exist ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

2. NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Also, update: I removed my quickly-installed addons from Garry's Mod, uninstalled it, quit steam and installed it again. The freezing didn't happen anymore and I had a 150-300 FPS Rate. I reinstalled CS:GO too (it doesn't have addons so nothing to remove) and same thing, it worked perfectly fine. BUT, after some time I installed Insurgency, which runs on the Source Engine, and it had the freezes. I went back on CS:GO and Garry's Mod and both had freezes again. Does source hate me? I literally tried uninstalling each a couple of times, nothing. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just tried another fix, deleting the csgo app in the game folder and it worked after I verified the game files! 1 strange thing was that it said 2 files missing instead of one, even tho i tried this multiple times. Every gun sound, everything works with a stable 70-100 fps! Thanks everyone who replied and I will stay off playing other source games for a while
