LFS Is an aircraft addon focusing on a more war thunder/arcady style of aircraft in gmod. As WAC is dated and buggy as a result of all the new gmod updates I believe it could be a good replacement, It includes aircrafts, helicopters, and tonnes of content authors have made addons for it. The LAAT for it is one great example which is why i am reccomending it here. The Maintanance station offers a way to repair/rearm these aircraft without using the c menu option which admins use.

The star wars weapons are a good pack of just general star wars blasters/rifles which are pretty fun to mess around with, and require no extra content to use.

Thanks for reading my suggestion, please consider a +1 ;p

ACT3 Is a projectile based physical bullet weapons pack which includes a small variety of highly customizable weapons.
All the weapons do a high damage at the expense of a rapid damage dropoff depending on the ammo you choose, drop, needing to lead targets and weapon sway.
Weapons from this mod can also be given to NPCs.
Moving onto the subject of damage again, assault rifles are capable of taking people out in a chest shot from a close range, damage against vehicles can be increased by loading AP rounds, whereas short range player damage can be increased with hollowpoint rounds, at the cost of a higher damage loss at distance.

One of the things worth restricting right off the bat would be the rocket launcher, although it would make a fine addition to the point-shop, being an amazing anti vehicle weapon, able to replace the broken golden gun. I'd encourage you to take a look at the pack yourself.

As an idea of how the addon plays, here is a recording of me and gab going ham on some NPCs:

(EDIT: The sounds in this video come from a CSS resound pack, the guns by default have the regular CSS Sounds)

Gulf War armed vehicles adds four new vehicles to the Simfphys sandbox. Bringing back two old favourites from SCars (with diff models/functions), the Humvee and Abrams, as well as adding two new ones, the T72 and BMP.

Starting with the Abrams, it has the most armour out of all current simfphys, having 1000 more hitpoints than the regular tanks. As well as 3 machineguns, one coaxial and two roof machine guns. It is quite fast, plus the gun is the most lethal to vehicles, but has the least HE effect. Meaning the cannon is more of an AT weapon.

The Humvee. the Humvee is a simple 4 seater with a roof MG controlled by the driver, being the fastest vehicle in the pack by 10 mph, second fastest beingthe BMP.

The T72. The T72 in this mod lacks a coaxial machine gun, but to make up for that has the most lethal anti infantry shells in the pack. Although one shots are difficult, shots taking upwards of 50 health are not. The secondary attack for the main gunner also fires an AGTM, which is better against armed vehicles. It has a single roof machine gun, but does poorly against the abrams.

The BMP. The BMP is an APC with a deadly autocannon on the roof, complimented by an AGTM Launcher, capable of knocking out the Leopard 2 and T90 MS in a single hit, although paired with long reload times and being a 2 hit kill to both the leopard and t90 ms, as well as the abrams.

I think this addon would be a good replacement for the vehicles lost when the BF2 pack went down. Especially since the vehicles have very distinct strengths/weaknesses. Ty for reading keubin pls add

A big suggestion towards the weapons addons on this server...

All these suggestions are for general addons on the server, not just weapons. I trhink doing these will improve the server quite alot.

First things first, PLEASE REMOVE TFA ITS FUCKING GARBAGE OP SHIT...

Second, ATOW needs to be back. Im sure alot of people would agree.

Third, more restriction work needs to be done with the current weapons, I dont see why we should have one flame thrower on pointshop when we have 2...

Fourth, having some more CW2.0 weapon packs would be nice, find them very nice and balenced to use, there isnt really an OP gun in CW2.0 that Ive found yet.

Fifth, i think we need to remove Scars, yeah they are cool but they are just irrelivent now that simfphys is on the server (5.5 I think we need to get some of the simfpyhs car packs, personally i love them as the physics are superiour to scars and TDMcars)

Sixth, Personally i think we need a ranking system depending on playtime, for example people with 100+ hours on the server get Respected, 500+ Mega Respected, whatever, becauise i know alot of people (including me) who have played on the server for a long long time but dont really have a rank.

Seventh, I think that the server generally just needs a good look over, get rid of some addons hardly anyone uses, update the addon collection including the materials for the addons and things like that.

Well thats my rant over, i hope some of these things happen (especially ATOW coming back, plz i need the Kar98 )

What is vFire?
vFire is a recently made addon that reworks the fire mechanics of GMod. Instead of having fire that burns a single object for a few seconds, vFire adds a host of new effects and features that make it a force to be reckoned with. For instance, fire deals more burn damage and will spread when it settles on a surface, then proceed to decay again. Rocket launchers and default explosive GMod items boast a slight incendiary effect now, shooting out 3 fire sources which can hurt and burn. Fire will also stick to objects, and it’s spread rate can be boosted through use of console commands.

The flamethrower.
The flamethrower, due to the reworked mechanics holds an entire host of new uses. It can be used for the same applications such as burning people from seats, but due to the-stick and spread feature, you can give any vehicle- including WAC if you’re talented enough- an extremely bad day. It works on ACF too, sticking to the surface of the tank and dreipping through in places. Not only is this useful against vehiles, it is also an extremely lethal anti-infantry weapon, it can enter through a small gap and engulf the area in literal seconds.

As with all my addon suggestions, thank you for reading and please consider checking this addon out and dropping a +1.

Replace TFA With ASTW2

ASTW2

First of all, i'll start with ASTW2.

ASTW2 Is a very new addon, it is centred around bringing a different, non-generic copy paste weapons pack into GMod. I'll divide it into sections consisting of;
Unique Features
Non-unique but still cool features
Balance
Performance
Issues
Misc.
And last but not least, why it could serve as a worthy replacement for TFA.

UNIQUE FEATURES.
This addon has a set of interesting mechanics which certainly provide a seperation from other addons. Firstly, there are a set of camera perspectives, none of which portray the simple first person with a gun animation stuck over your screen. There is either third person: or the immsersive/guncams. What these do is they portray your perspective from your characters heads actual position.

Among this, it allows you to create a custom camera setting, and also the ability for admins to force players to use a certain camera type.

Another feature i find unique is kind of similar to CW, But different enough that it warrents me putting it here. Guns have a rest/bipod system. This reduces recoil, but unlike CW or FA:S, You do not require pressing a button everytime to deploy the bipod, moving 3 feet then accidentally undoing it. The bipod automatically works whenever you aim over a surface and reduces recoil to zero, whereas a normal un-bipodded guns recoil is reduced by a certain amount. This is very powerful when utilized right.

Rejuvenative smoke grenade: This is a smoke grenade that slowly heals you when you stand in its effect, with about 5 health a second and a bright red smoke cloud and smoke noise alerting people to where you are, unlike the TFA CSGO Medshot which is 50 health in literally a second.

Melee system: The melee is comprised of hitboxes instead of point damage, this means your melee tool will damage what it touches instead of what is in front of you. Basically, the model of the melee weapon is what does the damage.

Bullets: Bullets actually leave the gun instead of where your head is.

Non-Unique but still cool features
Custom crosshairs: Crosshairds which can be changed in colour, a preset set of shapes and size.

Shields: Bullet blocking shields can be equipped as a weapon.

Ammo types: They use a small set of custom ammotypes (12 plus potato) for all the weapons in the pack, all 251 of them.

Balance
The balancing methods are pretty simple but effective. Constant fire results in a non stop expreme increase in bullet spread.

The bipods dramatically slow the dispersion rate of the bullets, so they can be very powerful tools.

Shotguns are semi auto pump action and even auto, the accuracy is almost 0 at ranges but relatively well balanced, they can be defeated with SMGs and ARs easily due to their slower firerates, and the fact that every reload takes the same time, 1 shell or full mag, making it hard to fire-reload-fire-reload like you could do with the fast loading tfa shotguns.

All weapons have also been tested for balance by the maker of the mod to get a way better comparison.

And the fact that bullets leave from where your gun is means less shooting over ledges you can barley even see over.

Performance
The entire addon is 12mb, it haas easily identifiable and accessable performance settings, and the fact it uses the actual characters gun as the model, it reduces on space used both on the server, and very easy to use for laggier computers. It also has proper networking so even when laggy the guns should still work fine.

Issues:
It overlays the TFA Hud slightly, it does not impact or block the weapons in any way, it just means you have the TFA hud at the bottom left just under your health. There are bug suggestions on the workshop page which are also tended too, so if any more are found post there.

Why it should replace TFA.
TFA Is old, no effort was put into balance at all meaning the sacrifice of all the ARs was given up for shotguns, the muzzle and smoke effects on almost every action can hurt a lot of peoples performance, it has easily exploitable features such as the medshot you can use every second, due to the fact the damage was greatly reduced, most of TFAs weapons are not even used by anyone, the recoil is buggy and clunky, it's hard to tell where to aim because every shot blinds you, on some weapons the recoil is tonnes for small damage, and on others almost no recoil for tonnes of damage, follows the exact same accuracy and shooting mechanics as M9K, and lacks anything really unique asides from the crosshairs.

Thanks for reading my suggestion, please consider a hot +1, check out the workshop page for more details on features and settings, and here is the link:

Knife Kittys CW 2.0 INS2/DOI Pack

Now i'm going to start of by saying, it is a big addon, about 25 of them infact However due to the large quantity variety and customization, it is capable of replacing the INS2 TFA Pack, the CW 2.0 ATOW Pack, UECW, TFA MWR Sweps, and a majority of the default TFA M9K Conversion packs which nobody actually uses. Yes, you can keep the CSGO pack and AVA, as they are more unique from the other TFA Packs.

Also worth noting that the CWC Pack will hinder the explosives performance, RPGs will fall out the barrel and grenades will go 1 metre, and the unreliability of the physical bullets it may be worth removing it as a whole, as it will break a lot of aspects about this addon.

The pack itself is made by Knife Kitty, a popular CW 2.0 SWEP Maker, responsible for making the fully customizable HK XM8 And HK416 swps.
The external bodygroup customization is a feature that carries on from those addons.

The weapons are extremely functional and accurately represented, say for instance, if you fire 1 shot with a lee enfield, you'll pull back the bolt, meaning another bullet is ejected so you will load two. The stripper clips are not bugged, so you wont load magazines THROUGH the scope, especially as there is a side mounted scope to allow top loading with a clip. The AT4 And RP7 7 From ins2, due to their nature, will bounce off a wall about 10-20 feet away without exploding due to there being no time to arm, the M1 Bazooka will bounce if it hits a shallow surface, unlike the other WW2 AT Launchers which explode on contact. There is even a melee feature for all the DOI Sweps which allow you to smack people with your gun, or the bayonet if you have that equipped. With INS2 Weapons you will draw a knife COD style.

Weapons also do a very nice abount of damage. The M4A1 Will do 40 damage a shot, and has an insane firerate, thereby making it a very effective weapon. the Bolt action rifles and machineguns of ww2 are in the realms of 60 damage a shot making them effective forces to be reckoned with.

Unfortunately, everything good must have a few drawbacks, there is a large amount of content required to run this addon, and there are a few issues:
The KABAR Knife is missing textures
The DOI M1/M1A1 Carbines have error world models and are missing the rear sight in first person. the M1 And M1A1 Carbines in the INS2 pack Don't have this problem
SCLAP Had an issue where he could not see the Panzerschrecks c model but he could see the w model, Gabriel, Misuteri and reaper did not have this issue
